Scholarship Description
The American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) Foundation is happy to offer the ASSE Scholarships and Grants for both US and Non-US students.
The American Society of Safety Engineers exists to provide programs that advance the safety profession. It exists because safety matters - for workers, for families, and for the future of our world. The ASSE awards are for students majoring in occupational safety, health, and the environment.
If your degree is not an Occupational safety and health (OS&H) degree, and you desire to obtain any of the ASSE scholarships award, it is your responsibility to make the case in your student narrative for why your studies are relevant to ASSE's mission of guiding the safety profession forward.
Eligibility
Non-U.S. citizens are eligible for all of ASSE scholarships except: the America Responds Memorial Scholarship, the UPS Diversity Scholarship, the Harry Taback 9/11 Memorial Scholarship and the Steven Kane Memorial Scholarship.
Awards are for students majoring in occupational safety, health and the environment and closely related degrees.
To apply to any of the awards, ASSE membership is not required, but it is strongly preferred. [A one-year student member costs only $15 and is a worthwhile investment.]
