Scholarship Description
The University of East Anglia offers partial and full scholarships for international studentsfrom developing, low-income and developed countries. 

The scholarships are for Masters Degree in International development courses offered by the School of International Development - School of International Development Excellence Awards.

Eligible applicants are invited to apply for the 2018-2019 School of International Development Excellence Awards for international students.

Eligibility
You should have been offered and have accepted a place on an eligible international development course offered by the School of International Development.

The scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence (e.g. first class degree) and the personal statement.

For African applicants, scholarship award is conditional on a statement of their current employer who commits to providing a stipend to cover living expenditures as well as to employing the student again after the study.

Number of awards / Scholarship benefits
a). INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIPS (for all international students) - Offers a £1,000 fee waiver to all international students who have obtained a 1st Class degree. All students who have completed their undergraduate degree at UEA will receive an additional 20% fee reduction.

b). INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT FULL FEES SCHOLARSHIP (for all international students) - A full fee award may be offered to one international taught applicant

c). INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PARTIAL FEE EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS for students from USA, Japan, South Korea and Latin America - partial fees awards may be offered to students from USA (2 scholarships of £6000), Japan (5 scholarships of £3000), Korea (1 scholarships of £6000), Latin America (1 scholarship of £6000)

d). INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT FULL FEES SCHOLARSHIP for African students - A full fee award may be offered to one African applicant (NOT offered for 2018/2019 session).
