The new The Booking.com | Delft Global Scholarships are now available on offer for interested female students from Sub-Saharan Africa. This is the opportunity to study at the Delft University of Technology.
Recognizing an under-representation of women in undergraduate and advanced STEM-related areas of study, booking.com aims to ensure equal access and opportunity for all in the technology sector. The TU Delft, in particular, TU Delft | Global Initiative, aims to support capacity building in the Global South and to advance future leadership focusing on sustainable global development.
Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) aims to attract the world’s brightest students to its international classrooms. For that reason, it has established several scholarship programmes specifically designed to offer talented and motivated international students the opportunity to pursue a degree at TU Delft.
Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue MSc programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded for the following subjects:
- Computer Science
- Embedded Systems
- Systems and Control
- Computer Engineering
- Applied Mathematics
Scholarship Award: Scholarship provides full tuition fees for a TU Delft MSc programme and living expenses for 2 years. Membership to the Scholarship club giving access to personal development, workshops, seminars, etc.
Number of Scholarships: Up to five scholarships are available.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

Admitted to one on the following TU Delft’s MSc programmes:

- Applied Mathematics
A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80 percent or higher of the scale maximum in your bachelor’s degree.
A degree from an accredited university in one of the below-mentioned countries.

Nationality: Citizens of the following countries (Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Ivory Coast, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gabon, The Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South-Sudan, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe) are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirements: Students must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 80 percent or higher of the scale maximum in your bachelor’s degree.
English language Requirements: Proof of English language proficiency.
- A TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) with an overall Band score of at least 90 and a minimum score of 21 for each section. Please note that we only accept the TOEFL internet-based test.
- An IELTS (academic version) with an overall Band score of at least 6.5 and a minimum of 6.0 for each section.
- Proof that you have passed the Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) exam, the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) exam or the Cambridge English: Business Higher (BEC Higher) exam.

- Check if you’re eligible for this scholarship.
- Complete your application for a Non-EU. Check the admission requirements.
- Complete, in addition to all the regular documents for an MSc programme, the Application Form for the Booking.com | Delft Global scholarship.
- Upload your MSc application and the Application form for the Booking.com | Delft Global scholarship before 1 February 2018.
Application Deadline: Scholarship application deadline is February 1, 2018.
