Scholarship Description
The College of Europe offers a large number of scholarships to university graduates coming from European Neighbourhood Policy countries for post-graduate studies at the College of Europe during the academic year 2018-2019.

The countries concerned in this award are in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region: Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Morocco, the Palestinian Authority, Syria, Tunisia and Ukraine.

Scholarships are fully-funded and the final decisions on admission and scholarships will be taken after all interviews of the candidates from the ENP countries.

Eligibility
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
All applicants to the College of Europe must hold a relevant university degree. Admission to the College of Europe requires either a Bologna Master's degree, or a pre-Bologna equivalent degree, or a final university degree and at least 240 ECTS credits acquired in the course of one's university studies. Holders of a Bachelor degree are also eligible provided they demonstrate strong qualification in relation to the academic programme for which they apply.

Equivalence will be determined on the basis of objective criteria.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Accepted Language Tests and Diplomas:
There are specific language requirements at the College of Europe, Bruges campus and Natolin campus.

The School prefers students to obtain external language certificates. All international language certificates are accepted as long as they indicate the Council of Europe's levels.

Students may, if not in possession of a language certificate, also supply a university certificate or a recommendation letter written by a language professor or teacher referring to the applicant's language levels in relation to the Council of Europe levels.

These scholarships cover academic expenses, accommodation, meals and travel costs.

Method of Application
All applicants to the College must hold a relevant university degree. Candidates must submit a formal application for admission, which consists of an online application. Applications need to be submitted with all the requested supporting documents before the closing date.

The deadline to apply is 17th of January 2018

PLEASE NOTE:
It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure all materials are submitted online. Applications which are not complete, i.e. including all required uploads, cannot be submitted and will not be reviewed.

After the deadline, all applications will be evaluated by the study departments at the College of Europe and a preselection will be made. Preselected candidates will be invited for an interview with the Professors/assistants of the department(s) they have applied for. The final decisions on admission and scholarships will be taken after all interviews of the candidates from the ENP countries. Candidates will be contacted by e-mail.

The College of Europe (French: Collège d'Europe) is an independent university institute of postgraduate European studies with the main campus in Bruges, Belgium. It was founded in 1949 by such leading European figures and founding fathers of the European Union in the wake of the Hague Congress of 1948. It has the status of "Institution of Public Interest", operating according to Belgian law. Since 1993 the college has also had an additional smaller campus in Warsaw, Poland.
